Stacy von Staudt

Stacy von Staudt is a precious 2 year-old German Shepherd with a very gentle and sensitive soul. She has blossomed into an affectionate, silly and playful pup in her foster home under the loving guidance of her two-and-four legged hosts.  Stacy’s confidence builds exponentially with each passing day that is filled with fun experiences, tender strokes and warm praise. Stacy hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t enjoy and respect; it was an immediate hit with the large male shep in her foster home, inviting him to actively romp and chase in the yard.  She gently engages the tiny foster puppy in silly play and gives wet kisses, while also respecting the space of the grumpy old female foster dog in her home.  She regularly asks for head scratches and embraces from her foster mom, but can be initially reserved around visitors; we are confident that her shyness will improve with time and with continued positive experiences. This smart girl will come to her ‘forever home’ already housebroken and crate trained.  If you have a dog door, even better – she mastered it within a day!  She is a pleasure to walk in the neighborhood, gently accepts treats from your hand, and has learned some basic commands. She asks that you have a playful male pup to keep her company and to help her adjust to a new environment. Your love will be rewarded 100-fold as you witness this gentle soul continue to blossom in your forever home. PS: She wanted us to add that she is now fostered with a cat whom she respects and doesn't bother.
